HISTORY

Klopper Jonker was founded in 1953 by Michael Jonker and Teuns Klopper, initially as a partnership, and was converted into an incorporated professional private company in 1989. The company has been practising as attorneys, notaries and conveyancers in Alberton since 1953. The company serves the communities of Alberton, Germiston, Johannesburg, and virtually the entire East Rand area.

Klopper Jonker Inc. has distinguished itself as reputable legal practice, maintaining high ethical values, which has enabled it to build a substantial client base in the greater East Rand and Johannesburg Area. Klopper Jonker Inc. has grown since its formation an currently consists of three main divisions, namely conveyancing, litigation and debt collecting

Klopper Jonker Inc has always, and will always be a company with the interest of the client at heart.

HISTORY

Jonker & Jonker were founded in 1991 by Michael Adriaan Jonker and Jacobus Petrus Jonker.  In 2000 the practice was sold to Johannes Hendrik Blignaut, with Michael Adriaan Jonker as consultant.  The practice was then carried on under the name and style of Jonker & Blignaut.  

The firm operates in four main divisions of the Law, namely Litigation, Conveyancing, Estate Administration & Planning and Liquidations.

The firm’s activities are mainly carried on in Gauteng.  Clients are also represented in various Courts throughout the Republic.  The practice is substantial and very stable.
