The firm, Kriek van Wyk & Khumalo has been practicing in Parys for over 40 years.

The current Directors, Mr Ebenhaezer Kriek and Mr Lourens van Wyk have been practicing in partnership since March 1983 and has recently formed a private company and appointed Mr Jusiah Khumalo as Co-Director.

Ebenhaezer Kriek

Eben Kriek specialies in conveyancing of properties, registration of mortgage bonds, registration and opening of sectional titles, subdivisions and consolidations, deceased and insolvent estates. He has by far the largest conveyancing product in Parys and vicinity and serves clients in Free State, North West, Gauteng, Western Cape and actually all over the Republic of South Africa.

His conveyancing department with Jansie Botha as PA has beaten the turnover targets set by the commercial banks consistently without exception and is highly recommended throughout the banking world and regarded as most efficient by the banks, estate agents, colleagues and clients alike.

The turnaround time for property registrations in this department is amazingly efficient and has received high praises and referrals from all over the property world’s spectrum.

Lourens van Wyk

Lou van Wyk specializes in commercial work, High Court litigation, liquor licenses and a touch of labour law.

He has been involved in numerous high profile negotiations with international, listed and public companies involving mines, minerals’, commodities, properties, property development, township development, regional and town planning, environmental issues, import and export, motor vehicles, minerals, precious stones and is presently negotiator and facilitator for several buyers and sellers of above mentioned transactions.

He has also been responsible for most of the liquor licence applications in Parys, Vredefort, North West and rural areas surrounding regions.

In co-operation with labour consultants and counsel specializing in Labour Law, several clients are served in this way.

Jusiah Khumalo

Josiah Khumalo was clerk of the court at Parys magistrate’s court for 27 years.

He completed his B.lur through Vista Johannesburg and his LLB through North West University in Potchefstroom.

He did his articles at this firm and was admitted as attorney in November 2007. He is responsible for the magistrate’s court, litigation collections, criminal, RAF, maintenance and general matters.

He has a large client base, local as well as in several districts surrounding Parys as far as Bloemfontein.

The firm is ably supported by well-trained staff who has been in the employ for as much as 24 years, 12 years, 11 years, 6years and 5 years, respectively.
